What is Craft Innovation Hub?
Craft Innovation Hub, or CIH, is an innovation, skills, and enterprise hub in Ilorin. We help people learn practical skills, build projects, develop ideas and prepare for real opportunities.
Is CIH only a training centre?
No. Training is one part of CIH. We also work in innovation, research, enterprise support, media, career development and community impact.

Programmes & Learning
What programmes does CIH offer?
We offer programmes in technology, data, AI, design, digital marketing, project management, and vocational skills. We also run short courses, workshops, SIWES and selected NYSC programmes.
What is a Professional Programme?
A Professional Programme helps you build strong practical skills in a specific field through training, exercises and projects.
What is a Career Programme?
A Career Programme combines practical training with extra support such as portfolio development, CV review, interview preparation and career guidance.
What is the difference between Professional and Career Programmes?
Professional Programmes focus mainly on building your skills. Career Programmes add structured support to help you prepare for jobs, freelance work, or other professional opportunities.
Do you offer vocational skills?
Yes. Our vocational programmes include Plumbing and Waterworks, Resin Art and Design, and Shoes and Bags Making.
Do you offer short courses and workshops?
Yes. CIH runs short courses, workshops, and masterclasses in areas such as AI, freelancing, communication, business, and professional skills.
Do I need experience before joining?
Not always. Many programmes are beginner-friendly. Some advanced programmes may require basic computer or subject knowledge.
Will I work on practical projects?
Yes. Depending on your programme, you may build a website, dashboard, campaign, prototype, physical product or another practical project.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, for applicable programmes. You must complete the required training, assessments and project work.

How much do programmes cost?
Fees depend on the programme and duration. The current fee is shown on each programme page.
Can I pay in instalments?

Are scholarships available?
Sometimes. Scholarships depend on available sponsors, donors or partner funding.
Are all scholarships fully funded?
No. Some cover the full fee, while others cover part of the tuition.
Is there a general 30% discount?
No. Sponsored discounts only apply when a specific funding arrangement is available.
Career Support
Does CIH guarantee me a job?
No. We can help you prepare for opportunities, but we cannot guarantee a job, client, freelance contract or income.
What career support can I receive?
Depending on your programme, support may include CV review, portfolio development, interview preparation, freelance guidance and opportunity information.
Can CIH help me start freelancing?

Does CIH accept SIWES or Industrial Training students?

Does CIH run programmes for NYSC members?
